Sales / Steals / Links
This whole perusing the internet for sales and great links is a dangerous game. I get caught adding too many things to my own cart and getting stuck in many rabbit holes looking for good deals on sunglasses and reading about skincare items that I absolutely need. Spoiler: I do not need any more skincare items, but this Renee Rouleau Triple Berry Smoothing Peel is next on my list. According to some of my favorite beauty experts here, and elsewhere, it is similar to getting a professional facial, and preps your skin perfectly to absorb the magic that is Renee's Rapid Response Detox Mask . I use this every time I have a hormonal (or otherwise) breakout, and it is SO good. But back to the point of this post: Sales and great links!
We are in Week 3 of Ulta's 21 days of beauty event
Have you guys heard of JCrew's 20/30 method? You can take 20% off of 2 items or 30% off of 3. PLUS they are currently having 40% off of dresses and bathing suits. This dress is so cute to wear to the farmers market or a cocktail party on a warm night. Love. As far as swim, there are literally too many to list all of the ones that I love. This one though, the top is so flattering, and this print is everything. This one piece is one of their classics, and may have to be the first into my foray of one piece wearing. After growing up thinking one pieces were "un cool" for some reason, or only suited for swim team, no pun intended, they have been taking summers by storm and I think I love it.
Say hello to 50 % OFF trending styles at Ann Taylor.
Urban outfitters is 30% sale styles.
OK definitely not a sale or a steal, per say, but one of my favorite athletic brands is now at Nordstrom and they have so. many. cute. things. Seriously I could go on. Another one piece though?! So chic.
Has anyone ever shopped Zaful? Their ads pop up for me alllll the time on Instagram and Pinterest but I can't tell if the clothes will be good! I have heard mixed reviews, although very good things about the swimwear (which is insanely priced). I feel like the prices would make the risk/reward of trying some of their pieces pretty good!
One of my favorite bloggers, Grace, of The Stripe, has a column that her assistant Kelly writes each week of various items under $100. This one is especially great because it has her "tried and trues" and there are some great ones, some that I agree with!
Julia spoke about her anti inflammatory diet in order to help with her nasal polyps, which actually really hit home for me as I have had problems with smell/taste/sinus and even balance at one point in college and since then. I absolutely loved reading this and seems like something to put more thought into.
Another thing I found on Julia's blog - THIS. what the actual fuck.
Something that is really important to me - my space. And no I don't mean like "me time" although that is exceedingly important to me, I mean our home. I thought this was a pretty interesting article about things you could be doing wrong design wise, and something I'm keeping in mind as we decorate.
One of my favorite beauty editors details her skincare routine - morning, night, hangover and for "beard rash" :)
As someone who has purchased COUNTLESS items directly after reading about them on ITG, this piece was wildly relatable, and admittedly will probably influence me to buy more stuff.
